Chelsea ‘not willing to go beyond €35m’ for player – Player is ‘waiting for green light’, request ‘too much’ for Blues

Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries is 'waiting for the green light' to join Chelsea this month, but the Blues are yet to show a willingness to pay his asking price.

That's according to La Repubblica, relayed by FC Inter 1908, who say Chelsea are 'not willing to go beyond €35m' for the player.

They explain that the 'siren call' for Dumfries is once again sounding loudly, with the Dutchman a popular player in the Premier League.

Chelsea are particularly keen on him as they seek out a replacement for the injured Reece James and have made several attempts to secure a deal with Inter.
