PSG TARGET MILAN ŠKRINIAR WILL NOT EXTEND HIS CONTRACT WITH INTER MILAN

It appears that PSG target and Inter Milan defender, Milan Škriniar seem, will not be extending his contract with the Italian club. For PSG, who were pursuing the center-back last summer, this may be a good sign.
His agent, Roberto Sistici spoke about the breakdown between the two parties stating, "Last autumn we responded to all appointment requests made by the club. After a series of preliminary meetings, we presented our financial request, and subsequently, at the beginning of November 2022, the club presented us with a proposal. About a month later, before Christmas, I communicated to Inter the decision not to accept their offer, a choice reaffirmed at the beginning of January."
The agent of the Slovakian international was clear that they would listen to offers from other clubs after coming to the decision to not accept the Serie A club's offer. The defender is a free man come next June. In fact, the 27-year-old center-back can already find and agree with another team to sign with during the off-season.
However, his agent was also clear about the dealings with PSG in regard to his current club explaining, "We did not talk about PSG between us, just as we did not leak our positions...Given that with Inter, we had agreed to treat the situation with confidentiality, for the sake of serenity and performance of the team and the player."
Škriniar has made 191 appearances for the Italian club since his arrival in 2017 and just as his agent stated, the player is loyal to his club. As a center-back, he checks all the boxes you want in a central defender. So, even though this is a "good" sign for PSG, essentially any club that has the ability to bring him in will make their best effort.
